On Tuesday, the injury-plagued San Francisco 49ers welcomed guests dressed in Washington Commanders nfl jersey to their home stadium. After a hard-fought contest, the 49ers emerged with a 23–17 victory, extending their winning streak to start the season to six games.
The 49ers’ win was a nail-biter. They held a 20–3 lead heading into halftime, but the game took a turn when both teams’ star wide receivers—Mike Evans and Terry McLaurin—left the field due to injuries. In the second half, Jayden Daniels threw two touchdown passes, narrowing the gap to 23–17. Ultimately, however, Daniels was unable to pull off a game-winning miracle, much to the relief of the 49ers.
It's worth mentioning that a new record was set in this game. Brock Purdy, wearing a San Francisco 49ers jerseys, crossed the 1,500-pass attempt threshold, officially becoming the NFL's highest-rated quarterback in passing history. Let’s congratulate him on this achievement!
